Mendocino Woodlands

Beneath the towering, historic trees of breathtaking Mendocino, Shannon and Alan celebrated their love surrounded by more than 120 of their dearest family and friends. Inspired by a vision of vibrant, joyful blooms, they dreamed of creating striking floral moments that would shine against the serene, woodsy backdrop.

A lively palette of corals, bright pinks, blues, oranges, yellows, and lush greens infused the rustic campground with energy. Coral charm peonies, pincushion protea, delphinium, orchids, dahlias, calla lilies, and scabiosa pods were artfully arranged to add texture and whimsy. Before the ceremony, guests were welcomed to a floral bar, where crafted boutonnieres and flower crowns were made to order, adding a personal touch to the day’s celebration.

For the reception, long, low wildflower arrangements adorned the large wooden tables where loved ones gathered to share meals throughout the weekend. These florals—bursting with color, life, and movement — perfectly mirrored the boundless joy and exuberance of the couple’s union.
